What the Boss Says 5th January 2010 I am delighted to report that Harringtons have finished the year on a high with our best quarter for two years. It is amazing to see how quickly the housing market has rebounded to a sustainable level. Only 12 months ago property had seemed to be the last thing that people wanted ending a 10 year love affair. Halifax announced that mortgage approvals for November 2009 were up by 100% compared with November 2008.
I am equally delighted to report that we have expanded and opened a newly refurbished office in the centre of Petersfield. We believe that this move will not only strengthen Harringtons position as a market leader in the Meon Valley and offer a gateway to London buyers with the works currently underway to improve transport links on the A3. All in all we are optimistic for a good year in 2010 but I still believe that this will require determination and drive to succeed. I would like to wish everyone one a happy and prosperous new year.
